two if by sea

as i turn the corner to start this very new, very exciting chapter of my life i have come to the conclusion: two really is better than one. plenty of old adages hail the satisfaction and safety from two-dom. it takes two to tango. a trouble shared is a trouble halved. it is not good for man to be alone. and as much as i have depended upon my contentment in the realm of the solitary, i can now see the contentment, although serving it's purpose, was a mere man-made protection. i will unashamedly admit that being a pair has taken me my fair share of time to adjust to. but a task that was well worth undertaking. and yet, as the borders of old fall to the floor, i see a beautiful expression of companionship...and more importantly our Lord's most used analogy: the bride and groom. as i move forward into this time of my life where i begin to understand first-hand the love the Lord has for the church, i am setting out on documenting togetherness. the fears, the triumphs. the joys, the pains. and a little bit of fun in between.

with me wandering. a time where i set out to no longer be an "i" but a "we." a time where WE go through life together. for Him. with Him.
